Why we started
Artisan Leather is a small Irish-owned brand. We kept seeing the same choice in leather bags: pay hundreds extra for a famous name, or buy something cheap labelled "genuine leather" that cracks within a couple of years.
We wanted a third option. Proper full-grain leather, made well, with no logo on the outside and one fair price.
"A logo adds cost, not quality. So we leave it off and put the money into the leather."
Who makes our bags
Every bag is hand-cut and hand-stitched from full-grain leather by our partner workshop in Pakistan, a country with a long tradition of leatherwork. Each one is inspected before it is dispatched to you from Ireland.
What we promise
Full-grain leather only, never bonded or PU. No logo on the outside. One fair price all year, with no fake sales (see how we price). Dispatched from Ireland with no customs fees, free delivery over €100 to Ireland and the EU, and 30-day returns. If a buckle, zip or stitch fails in normal use, contact us and we will put it right.
Better with use
Full-grain leather is left uncoated, so it softens and darkens with use and picks up a patina that is yours alone. Look after it and it will be carried for years.
